For Adults

While competition in the industry is getting fierce, companies are always on the lookup for improving the productivity of their staff.

To keep up with today's corporate culture, employees are also spending more and more time at work and less time with their family.

While the employers optimize on the profits, the employee is burning out at a faster rate than sustainable leading to tremendous stress, anxiety and depression.

This year, 12% of American women and 7% of American men will experience depression. Recent recession and large scale layoffs is just driving man's emotional tolerance to the edge leading to medical problems, increase in suicide incidents, breaking families and kids falling prey to crime and drugs. In addition to materialistic comforts, our kids are inheriting an immoral, unethical and unsustainable life style. The greed and valueless ambitions of a few have brought the world economy to its kness. Spirituality is the only means to increase one's emotional intelligence and sustain self in such tough times. * Spirituality now is something more than simple meditation and yoga. It is the art of relieving stress and mental hazards. As rightly said by Prof. S.K. Chakraborty, IIM, Kolkata. "Industry is boldly mining the depths of Indian Wisdom, the Vedas, Upanishads, Puranas, looking for a framework springing from Indian roots andthought. It is time we rediscover our own ethos and cultural context to provide meaningful and relevant management skills to the youth of the nation." Certainly spirituality in the workplace is an idea whose time has come and its relevance is being more and more realized .

At the camp learn how

Stress can be identified and managed.

Ambition and Competition can be constructive.

One can improve upon one's emotional quotient and prepare self to weather any challenges with self-confidence and optimism.

Spirituality can strengthen one's relationships.

Spiritual goals can give you material success.

To balance goals and ethics in a highly competitive culture.

To raise kids we can be proud of.

To build a happy and harmonious family.

To take care of your health with simple Yoga asanas and keep ailments like joint pain, blood pressure, obesity, diabetes at bay.

To use simple breathing exercises to improve upon the Prana-tatva(life-force/energy) in one's body and enhance overall immunity of the body.

Yagyopathy, as an alternate form of therapy can help improve overall health and well being. So far we have only focussed on improving our physical strength (via exercise and gym) and mental strength by pushing self and kids for higher academic goals. Building the power of the soul(atma-shakti) with spirituality is the need of the time and that is what the camp hopes to address.
