Yug Nirman Mission is stepping into its 75th year. The journey which began with the lighting of one divine lamp (Diya) in 1926 has now become the light of Thought Transformation. As we step into this 75th year we look back upon the mission’s progress in USA and Canada and envision our mission’s future progress in the coming decade.

Our seniors, more experienced members are the brains of our mission and the young are the hands and legs, Gurudev and Mataji the soul. Together we all are striving to implement and realize Gurudev's vision of a brighter future for all. To carry this work forward camps have been regularly organized in USA and Canada.

This year of 2012 is a special year, being declared by Shantikunj as the year of penance and self-growth – “Surya Sadhana Varsh”.

The Annual Family Retreat of the year 2012 will be conducted in Canada from July 22nd to July 26th. Details of this camp are updated on the AWGP Youth website – www.awgpyouth.org. After a rewarding experience of the 2011 retreat at New Jersey Chetna Center, parijans from Canada are inviting everyone across the border to attend a camp in the serene beauty of Niagara Falls. The camp location is situated very close to the USA border and within driving distance from two of our major centers of NJ and Chicago. Upwards of 350 attendees are expected to attend this camp. Everyone is requested to come to this camp and I will personally take sessions with all of you. The focus of this camp will challenges in the coming decade and the future course of the mission in USA and Canada.
